Our Commitments to Our Education
We are committed to keeping ourselves abreast of the rapidly developing fields in which we practice, and in keeping our trial and alternative dispute skills sharp, by presenting educational programs to others, and by regularly attending these programs ourselves.
All of the attorneys in the firm regularly attend local seminars sponsored by the Utah State Bar and other organizations, and we often travel out of state to receive educational opportunities not available locally.
All of the attorneys regularly practicing in our homeowner association practice have regularly attended the annual Community Association Law Seminar sponsored by the College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL);
Lincoln has attended the CCAl Conference annually since 2001. In addition. Lincoln co-presented at the seminar in 2005 on the area of architectural guidelines and their enforcement, in 2008 regarding the CCAL Amicus program, in 2009 regarding green practices and sustainability in community associations, and in 2011 on dealing with difficult people.
Lincoln presented a national telephonic seminar on Amending Community Association Documents for the National Business Institute; the program will be re-broadcast, with a follow up question and answer period.
In 2007, Julie Ladle attended the annual community association document drafting seminar sponsored by ALI-ABA; in 2005, Lincoln attended the annual document drafting seminar for Resort Developments. Lincoln attended the community association document drafting seminar in 2001 and again in 2008.
