Lincoln Hobbs appeared on the Panel of Pundits at the College of Community Association Lawyers' 2012 Law Seminar on January 27, in Palm Springs, California.
Lincoln Hobbs on Insurance Investigation and Litigation of a Fire
On February 17, Lincoln presented for the National Business Institute's seminar on "A Balanced Review of Claimant and Insurance Company Claim Resolution Tactics." Lincoln's topics included "Examinations Under Oath -- Claimant's Perspective," "Legal Ethics," and "Developing Trends" More information regarding the seminar is available here.
2011 Courses Taught
On March 3, 2011, Lincoln Hobbs was at Daybreak, teaching sections of the Utah Chapter of the Community Association Institute's Essentials of Community Association Volunteer Leadership Course. Highlights of the four-hour course include:
> How to communicate with HOA members (homeowners)
> How to instill a sense of community among residents.
> How to hire qualified product and service providers.
> How to develop and implement enforceable rules and regulations.
> How to read and monitor financial statements.
On March 24-25, Lincoln Hobbs was in Phoenix, AZ, teaching the Community Association Institute's PMDP 202 course on Association Communications. Students in the course learned to:
> Implement proven strategies in your own associations
> Teach your staff the basics of good customer service
> Identify your owners' needs and respond effectively and quickly
> Respond to complaints and handle angry owners
> Manage public relations crises
> Prepare effective annual meeting notices, management reports, and rule violation letters
> Write a readable, informative newsletter
